Whether they realize it or not, agents (WA and OR agents are referred to as brokers) beginning a career in real estate are entrepreneurs. As an independent contractor you are responsible for setting up and running your own business. Upon completion of the required course work to become a broker you have learned some of the basic practices, laws and fundamentals, but that education does not prepare you for the tasks of advertising and marketing your business, working with clients and writing and negotiating contracts. At Coldwell Banker Bain, we provide a comprehensive program to prepare our brokers to represent their clients with competent and caring advocacy.

Each day of classes builds on the previous day and at the end of the 8 days, we think our brokers will feel more confident and prepared to provide the highest level of service and expertise to their buyer and seller clients. By understanding the importance of daily business building activities brokers will realize a more consistent real estate business without the peaks and valleys that many unprepared brokers experience. After attending StartUp, our brokers will receive 50 continuing education credit hours. We also welcome our experienced brokers who want to attend StartUp as their elective. Depending on when a broker started their career, things change, new information becomes available and of course, we are always adding new tools/resources to support our brokers business. StartUp is a great way for the experienced broker to re-engage, learn about new tools, hear from successful working broker/instructors and continue to further their own education.
